Our Story

Why we built this

TipTap started with Dan, our co-founder.

Dan worked as a customer support agent. He'd spend hours solving complex problems, calming down frustrated customers, and going above and beyond to make things right. Customers would thank him. They'd leave 5-star ratings. Some even asked if they could tip him.

But there was no way to do it.

Meanwhile, Dan watched his colleagues quit for $2/hour more somewhere else. Great agents burned out because caring doesn't pay rent.

That's when we decided to fix it. If customers want to tip and agents deserve it, why doesn't this exist?

So we built TipTap.

This isn't a VC-backed growth play. It's a real solution to a real problem that Dan lived. If it helps agents earn more, customers feel heard, and companies keep their best people — we did our job.

Now he’s building the platform he wishes existed when he was answering chats at 2 AM. He builds partnerships with companies and helpdesk platforms to bring TipTap to the teams that need it most.

Djordje builds products that solve real problems. When Dan shared his frustration about customers wanting to tip but having no way to do it, Djordje saw the opportunity to fix a broken system. He handles operations, strategy, product, and making sure TipTap actually works for everyone involved.
