Most teams are live in under a day. TipTap plugs into Zendesk, Intercom and Freshdesk through their official APIs — no servers to deploy, no code to ship in your app.

Minimal. An admin with helpdesk permissions can connect TipTap in a few clicks via OAuth. There's no codebase change, no infrastructure to host and no SDK to embed.

No. Tipping is 100% optional and only appears after a successfully resolved ticket. Customers see a clean, dismissible option — no popups, no guilt, no checkout-style prompts.

It runs in parallel without interfering. The tip prompt appears at the end of a resolution flow and complements your CSAT data — many teams use TipTap data as a second qualitative signal on top of CSAT scores.

Agents are invited automatically once you connect your helpdesk. They confirm their profile, complete a quick identity verification, and they're ready to receive tips on their next resolved ticket.

TipTap only sees the minimum needed to route a tip to the right agent: a ticket ID, the assigned agent and the resolution timestamp. We do not pull ticket contents or customer PII beyond what's required for the tip transaction.

Tip earnings belong to the agent, not the company. If an agent moves on, their historical earnings and payout records stay with them in their TipTap account.
